Billing Business Analyst

Bratislava, Slovakia

Billing Business Analyst (BBA) will be part of Business Custom Complex team in Finance. In general, a BBA is someone who analyzes the existing and ideal (to-be) situation, and defines the transition path to reach the ideal. BBA will support the billing improvement projects focusing on:
- process (business process modeling)
- quality (quality management)
- systems (interpretation of business rules and requirements for technical systems)
- data analysis (data mining and identifying trends and opportunities within data).

Roles and Responsibilities:
o Assist Program Manager in strategy setting, planning and prioritization
o Review business opportunities and challenges to identify opportunities for improvements
o Review new requests & requirements to assess business value, high-level cost estimate and statement of work
o Define and agree the current business situation & identify and agree system/process/quality blueprint
o Define and agree the target business situation & identify and agree system/process/quality solution
o Lead & execute investigation in support of program, including data analysis, business case development
o Lead projects / feasibility studies (LEAN, 6-sigma) to understand and resolve business issues
o Gather & rationalize business and functional requirements. Collaborate with the various SMEs.
o Create business solution, (and arrange sign-off with from all stakeholders).
o Present results to stakeholders.
o Collaborate with project manager (where applicable) during initiation and planning (ensure input for Project Charter & Project Plan) and verify scope is in line with business requirement/solution
o Supports incoming processes/projects in the Business requirements phase, testing (writing test scenarios and complete testing in test environment) and implementation of projects and its monitoring in real production systems after implementation
o Share skills and Coach others to seniority
o Supports innovation activities within the team
o Complete regular tasks (project status, capacity reporting etc.)

Key Competencies and Skills:
o Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in complex, international environment
o Detail oriented
o Experience with Business Analysis/Analyst Management, leading complex tasks
o Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written
o PC literacy (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point), Internet, Visio
o Analytical thinking
o A self-starter demonstrating initiative and the ability to work around issues o Pro-actively looking for new assignment opportunities
o Ability to cope with stressful situations & prioritize workload and ability to work to deadlines
o Well organized and precise
o This position requires the candidate to possess demonstrated experience as a strong and dedicated team player with well-developed versatility
o Ability to communicate on different organizational levels and with different organizational audiences
o CBAP/ PMP/ Prince certification is an advantage
o LEAN and 6 Sigma understanding (certification optional)

Education and Qualifications:
o University education (master degree) is an advantage, preferably in the area of Business, Economics
o Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written (B2 level)

Additional Information:
Location: Bratislava
Contract: Unlimited
Working hours: EMEA (9.00am-5.30pm) with some flexibility to fully support customers
Salary from 2330 € brutto per month. Actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
