Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining CI/CD process for SaaS applications utilizing tools like Git, Docker, jFrog etc.
Implementing and maintaining the infrastructure on Azure via scripts and tools such as Terraform.
Containerization and orchestration of services using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible.
Designing and developing automation templates/tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration & change management.
Collaborating with development and production teams to identify and fix scalability and performance issues.
Ensuring and improving system efficiency, consistency, performance by using data analytics
Monitoring systems, services, and infrastructure to identify issues before they cause outages.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
Expertise in code deployment tools like Git, kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, jFrog
Working knowledge of databases, like mySQL, Elasticsearch, MongoD
Proficient in scripting languages like bash, Python
Working knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Sound understanding of system and application monitoring, performance tuning.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math). Inclusive of degrees meeting federal STEM classification codes.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, routing, and security.
Working knowledge of Linux OS
Strong grasp of containerization, virtualization, and automation tools.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Working knowledge of scripting languages: bash, Python
Our Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff, earns between $122,000.00 - $183,000.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
