Job Summary:
The Lead Applications Developer will manage a legal demands application which facilitates the provisioning for legally sanctioned surveillance (wiretaps) across AT&T. Due to the nature of the work, which includes handling AT&T subscriber content (voice, SMS, voicemail, etc.) for law enforcement agencies under legal orders, discretion and careful communication are paramount.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Using programming language and technology, writes code, completes programming and documentation, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
Work with future target architectures, but must be willing to gain knowledge to include prior platforms, languages and tools.
Release/migration participation as SME and Tier4 production issue resolution (Overnight responsibilities at times)
Qualifications:
Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
Requires 5-8 years experience.
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in both development and network node management or demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire such expertise.
Requires a willingness and ability to understand, learn and connect both old and new technologies as AT&T's requirements do not change regarding legal compliance.
Able to work with restful interfaces, Post, Get, XML, and WSDLs

Requires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week) in Bothell, Washington or Middletown, New Jersey. No relocation assistance is provided.

Our Lead Applications Development, earns between $130,700.00-$196,100.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
