About the Job:
This position is a Lead Cyber Security, responsible for the Application Security Logging and Alarming (ASLA) and Database Security Logging and Alarming (DSLA) platforms including the tools and process used to support this program driving POCs to completion, in the Data Protection Assurance organization within Cyber Security Organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing, tuning and maintaining our ASLA and DSLA platforms including the tools and process used to support this program driving POCs to completion
Providing thought leadership and direction on program improvements & optimizations
Deep understanding of Splunk and the methodologies used for onboarding.
Owner of the end-to-end Apps and DB onboarding architectures
Managing the onboarding pipeline and delivery numbers
System upgrade planning and execution. Ensuring compliance with AT&T CCRC, ASTRA, VMS, Archer
Support and guide team members that include Splunk Administrators, Architects, Knowledge Managers, Developers and Analysts for increasing Splunk adoption and overall success.
Primary / Mandatory skills:
Overall – 12+ years of IT experience
10+ years of experience with Splunk administration in an enterprise environment
6+ years of Splunk architecture and troubleshooting experience
5+ years of Application and Platform Architecture; Software Development Lifecycle
Advanced Splunk architecture and know-how and SIEM experience
Expertise in UNIX configurations
Proven experience in Event orchestration
Demonstrated experience in new rules development
Azure and AWS configuration management
Applications and Databases Onboarding Skillset
Solutioning and platform architecture and design
Project management skillset
General information security knowledge (CISSP, Security First Bronze, Silver and/or Gold)
Demonstrate Analytical Thinking,
Provide Technical team leadership
Ability to asses and articulate risks from a business standpoint.
Deep understanding of IT Environment and Governance
Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
BS of Computer Science and/or Information Systems
Technical Skills: SDLC, Splunk Architecture and Administration, Application and Database Lifecycle, SIEM and incident management process,
Additional information (if any): Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours upon need.
