AT&T Priority Telecommunications Services (PTS) contract is a 10-Year government contract awarded to AT&T in April 2015.  We will be bidding on the follow-on contract in 2025, all core carriers are part of this offer, terms of award are what is negotiated.

The PTS contract (National Security/Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP) Control Center is a 24x7x365 operation that manages and executes the PTS services associated with the OAM&P Plan of the PTS contract.  This role requires the individual to be part of a dynamic team.  The candidate is expected to become a SME in all operations and deliverables to the customer as well as be on call 24x7x365. This position will be located in Bedminster, NJ, until further notice.

AT&T has an opening for a Specialist – Network Support Manager on the PTS Team.  Role is responsible for Control Center Support Administration (scheduling, vacation, tour bids, and union issues), Telecommunications Operations support, Planning and Management of contract deliverables.  Also responsible for required reporting, tracking and management of PTS NS/EP Control Center in support of the Control Center Manager.  

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the team responsible for the provisioning and maintenance processes of the NS/EP CC.
  • Direct staff in assessing impact situations and crafting solutions effecting the Government Emergency Telecommunications Service (GETS) and Wireless Priority Service (WPS) in the AT&T network.
  • Work collaboratively with other Control Center managers in updating and maintaining CC Methods and Procedures, SRAS OA&M & Test Plans, MRT Cleanup while educating the Occupational Staff on the basics of GETS/SRAS in VoIP and WPS.
  • Consult/advises stakeholder groups on NS/EP issues of network readiness, trouble shooting and analysis, fraud and abuse, and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinates meetings and presentations with Customers, Vendors, and other AT&T organizations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, other telecommunications carriers
  • Ensure all Contract Deliverables are prepared and delivered on time. Plans, coordinates, and participates on all service development efforts for implementation of new hardware or software features that impact GETS/SRAS/WPS.
  • Interfaces with PTS Technical Team to identify, interpret and design operating support systems to meet delivery and feature maintenance schedules in both TDM and VoIP networks.
  • Coordinate the Scheduling of the Occupational team including vacation, holidays, over time and tour bids.
  • Act in the role of Step 1 representative for resolution of any union grievances and/or escalations.
  • Person must be flexible to constant changing priorities required to work on the NS/EP team.
  • Project Management, MS Office platform skills a must
  • SAP Business Objects experience a plus

Required Clearance: DoD Secret    (#secret) 

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Telecom Industry troubleshooting and problem solving. Principal Functional Skills / Competencies associated with this Title:
