Our Public Sector Voice & Collaboration Team is focused on positioning, solutioning, and selling cloud and premises-based strategic services for VoIP, Contact Center, Unified Communications, and Conferencing to State, Local and Education customers.

AT&T has an opening for a Voice Transformation Solution Architect, to support the Public Sector space, leading sales initiatives for Unified Communications, Contact Center, Conferencing and Professional Services opportunities. This position is responsible for serving as a subject matter expert on technical solutions to assist in the account management and revenue generation and sales of highly complex/technical products, services, applications, and/or solutions.

 Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Acute awareness and expert knowledge of the Voice & Collaboration ecosystem (players/offers/architecture/integration/interoperability) 
  • Work in close partnership with Product/Partners/NI COE/Custom Review Board to ensure best in class approach to engineering and architecture across the network and applications layer that secures us client wins on custom/complex opportunities
  • In partnership with the aforementioned organizations will also be responsible for vetting supplier capabilities and ensuring that the Day 0 to 2 experience is homogenized across our product offerings and templatized across large complex sales to assure client satisfaction, assure high probability of close and assure CX experience is flawless and keeps our clients coming back for more. 
  • Will be responsible for influencing the future roadmap of our product platforms and providing expert guidance/counsel to Product Management – a key requirement in ensuring we sustain market share
  • Plan and direct the technical selling efforts including Voice, Collaboration and Contact Center services which include the following, Cisco IP Telephony, Avaya One Cloud Secure and Microsoft Teams, Cisco UCM and Webex Conferencing services, Zoom and Contact Center technologies such as Cisco, Avaya and Genesys.
  • Develops technical sales approaches to accelerate technology adoption, reduce deployment timeframes and minimize risks.
  • Serves as coordinator and technical expert in facilitation of multi product/service design, business processes and functional areas associated with the solution architecture and design.
  • Coordinate with AT&T custom solution organization, represent customer needs, develop proposed custom designs for approval, and create repeatable solutions.
  • Responsibilities include solution configuration and design, proposal development and presentation, application and industry support, project management, implementation and technical assurance.
  • Delivers, manages and consults on strategic network services solutions based upon specific customer needs as identified in the account planning process.
  • Responsible to seek out and develop external partnerships for key strategic opportunities for custom/complex solutions that drive value back to the business and customer.
  • Liaison to partner organizations (GSE, IS (formally Network Integration), Product Management, AT&T Labs, Network Design and Consulting, AT&T Consulting)
  • Functions independently, establishing short- and long-term objectives.  Determines work activities necessary to meet objectives. 
  • Responsible to continue to build/achieve industry level certifications and demonstrate subject matter expertise on the core V&C portfolio technology stack.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience:  Typically requires 10 years to 15 years of direct work experience in the contact center, collaboration or cloud space.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in the solutioning AT&T offerings to include CISCO WebEx Calling and Meetings, Avaya Cloud Calling, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Previous experience in Public Sector
