The Cybersecurity/Developer will design, create, and implement various Java-based solutions for the business that will range from mobile applications to database programming. To be successful, the candidate should have a specialist level of understanding and skill in developing a broad range of applications and propreitary solutions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop  new microservices by using Spring Boot framework.
  • Create and designs plugins for IBM Security Access Manager.
  • Create and refine REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Build RESTful web services by using JAX-RS API.
  • Design WSDL/XSD, create database table schema, and develop DAO, controller and operation classes for SOAP web services.
  • Use REST Assured and FitNesse to create testing script to automate regression tests.
  • Write Junit test to improve code coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews to keep up the code quality and best practices.
  • Implement DevOps by using automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment, and also use SAST and DAST tools to scan any security flaw.
  • Troubleshoot the system test and production issues, and provide resolutions.
  • Will be responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting)
  •  Maintenance with a focus on automation. 
  • Collaborate to gather and review software requirements/user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
  • Work closely with the Testers to execute automated test plans/strategies.
  • Supports applications and solves configuration and environment issues. Supports the software deployment process.
  • road range of applications and proprietary solutions. A typical day will include coding and  attending Scrum calls.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 8-10 years experience. 
  •  Strong Java 8, Spring, Spring boot, Spring JDBCTemplate, log4j, junit, Mockito, JPA, Oracle DB, GIT, JSON, Tomcat and YAML.
  • Experience in creating Rest APIs using Spring boot framework
