databases and support development of applications with custom web interface and
services utilizing .NET environment to SQL Sever backend. Design and develop
database systems that provide transaction processing and web-based data entry
and retrieval, as part of a custom software development team. May conduct reviews of SQL query portions of software
design and source code. Maintain
technical documentation of system. Excellent English communication skills
required. Guides/mentors junior personnel as required. Minimum 8 years as a SQL
Server DBA with Microsoft Certifications.
Minimum 6 years experience in database system analysis. Solid
understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, industry standard
practices and processes. Experience
designing user interfaces for maximum ease of use. Solid Relational Database experience. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server,
including Stored Procedure development.
Experience working with very large databases (1TB+). Excellent
in T-SQL Stored Procedure design and development. Professional attitude,
communication/teamwork skills. Solid experience
with Microsoft SQL Server and DBA procedures, including backups, restores, and Stored
Procedure development. Solid experience
with SSIS and SSRS. DoD 8570 certification
Required Clearance: Secret
Relevant Bachelor’s degree preferred, however 4 additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree
Desired: Experience working with very large databases
(1TB+). Excellent in T-SQL Stored Procedure design and
development. Data warehouse experience
is a plus.
