We had a blast at our now-annual AT&T Experience Weekend! What is it? Put simply, AT&T Experience Weekend is the best possible way for STEM students to get an inside look at what it’s like to work with us. Select college students from all over the country are invited to join us at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with our top innovators and test-drive the latest technology straight from the labs. And that’s not to mention all the contests and prizes that go along with the chance to jumpstart their career and collaborate with the best in one of our Technology Development tracks.
Spread out over three days at the end of October, this year’s attendees were treated to unique experiences. After getting students checked-in on the first day, the event was off and running with a keynote address from company leaders and an exclusive visit to the AT&T Stadium. Students enjoyed dinner at The Club Level and an all-access tour of the stadium, which wasn’t complete without a game of catch on the field. The first day wrapped up at a networking event that gave students face time with Technology Development Program (TDP) clients and executives from around the company. Day Two was just as action-packed with a variety of challenges and experiments hosted at our headquarters in Whitacre Tower, ending with ExtravaLANza, – the must-see LAN party that would make any gamer proud. The students spent their final day interviewing for TDP, taking professional headshots, and most walked away with internship offers before heading back to campus to wrap up the semester.
